Where can I get ink cartridge replacements?
Ink cartridge replacements can be found online or at most office supply stores. The Ace Pen and The Court Pen take a standard "Cross" style ball point cartridge, while all of our other pens take the "Parker" style ink gel cartridge.
How do I replace the cartridge?
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNSCREW THE PEN! To replace the ink cartridge in your Ace or Court pen, gently pull the pen apart without twisting or bending the pen. Simply unscrew the ink cartridge and screw the new one back in. To reassemble, align the grain of the wood like you like it, and gently push the pen back together again.
To replace the cartridge in your Match Point Pen, gently pull the pen apart without bending or twisting the pen. Unscrew the pen turning mechanism by grasping the brass end of it. Remove the old cartridge, making sure to keep the spring from the old insert to use with the new insert. Reinstall the pen turning mechanism while holding the brass end and hand tighten. Align the grain of the wood like you like it, and gently push the pen back together.
To replace the cartridge in your Bullet Pen, unscrew the rose gold tip, making sure to keep the spring from the old insert to use with the new insert. Replace the cartridge and screw the brass bullet tip back on.
How do I protect the finish?
Your wood pen will develop a certain patina look to it after many years of use and there is really nothing you need to do to your pen's finish. Wiping it with a soft cotton rag is really all it needs. If you still feel the need to polish it, Johnsons Paste Wax is a good wax for the wood.

Part of the beauty of working with exotic wood is that every piece is unique in its own way, so your pen may not exactly resemble what is pictured on our website.
